The Museum of Flight & Aerial Firefighting is as the name suggests focused around aerial firefighting, with most of the collection being located outside. The entrance is through the small museum building, which house the gift shop and a few exhibits with some cool artifacts.
You can walk through one of the old aircraft, which allow you to get a better feel for the size of it - and get a much better view of the cockpit.
The museum is located behind a rest area, which is a very unusual location - but at least there’s plenty of parking available! Not a big museum, but a fun one!
Gift shop
Small gift shop with books, some souvenirs and various aviation themed gifts.
How much time should you plan to spend here?
This is not a big museum, so about an hour should give you plenty of time.
