The Mid America Museum of Aviation and Transportation is a transportation museum, meaning you will find a bit more than aircraft here. But the majority of the exhibits are aviation related. There’s a little bit of everything here, from civil aviation to aviation in movies and experimental airplanes.

One of the exhibits is dedicated to Flight 232, which I remember watching on TheFlightChannel.

Gift shop
Small gift shop with books, some souvenirs and various aviation themed gifts.

How much time should you plan to spend here?
About one hour should be enough.
But this might change as the museum is expanding, they had a lot of available space when we were there - so I expect that they will expand.
