The Flygvapenmuseum (Air Force Museum) is part of a set of military history museums owned by the Swedish government. This one is dedicated to military aviation, and has a large collection of aircraft, artifacts, simulators and an activity center for the children.

The museum is divided into sections, and are spread across three floors. There are also a couple aircraft outside.
The main floor is where most of the aircraft are. Upstairs is where you find the activity center, the simulators, and a small gallery.

Make sure you don’t forget to go downstairs to look at the old Douglas C-47 wreck and the crazy story surrounding it! Remember to walk around the entire thing (we almost didn’t realize you could walk around).

Simulators
The museum has two simulators, JAS 39 Gripen and Saab 105 / SK60.
Gift shop
The museum has a nice gift shop, with various toy aircraft, some books, and other aviation related items.
There is also a café inside the museum.

How much time should you plan to spend here?
You should plan at least two hours, possibly more. And definitely more if you plan to try any of the simulators.
